Earlier, Pauline Ferrand-Prevot won the cross-country mountain bike world championship, solidifying her place as a favorite for the Paris Games next year.

Ferrand-Prevot now has 15 world titles across multiple disciplines and is the first female cyclist to join Ineos Grenadiers.
